But the textile industry—which accounts for 6.7 percent of all global greenhouse gas emissions, according to a study by Quantis International—is finding a role to play in food waste reduction efforts.
Companies like Circular Systems, Inversa, and Desserto, are producing natural fibers made from organic waste to reduce the company’s impact on the environment.
